Membership Qualification

Membership of the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria — PETAN, is open to all Indigenous Technical Oilfield Service Companies who meet our membership criteria as detailed below.

Criteria for membership

  • Equity Holding — 100% Nigerian or an initial 60% with a three-year plan for acquisition of the remainder of shares.
  • Managing Director / Chief Executive must be a Nigerian citizen.
  • The majority of Technical management must be Nigerians.
  • All staff must be 95% Nigerian.
